Beach Accessories: What to Wear

    Have you been in the position where you don't know what to wear on a trip to the beach? I know I have, in particular this Sunday. And let's just say it was not a fun situation...

Life is better at the beach! If you are packing for a trip to your favorite shoreline, there are a few must-have accessories that you won’t want to forget. From sun protection to oceanfront style, I’ve put together a checklist of our favorite beach accessories so you will not forget a thing!

• A sunhat: More is definitely more when it comes to a hat for the sun. Although a ball cap will shade your eyes, a big floppy hat will cover your eyes, ears, and the back of your neck. Be sun smart!
• A cute silk scarf: You can use as a headband, head wrap or even a shirt.
• Comfortable shoes: Shoes for the beach should be sturdy and easy-to-clean—but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. 
• A beach bag: Tote your valuables (like your towel, bathing suit, extra clothes) in style with a mesh beach bag. They come in several beautiful colors and patterns and let you easily clean out the sand when the day is done.
• Swim cover-up: Stay cool and covered during your walk on the shore. Choose a cover-up that includes a tie sash to keep the garment in place or a button up shirt.
• Sunglasses: You can never forget a pair of sunnies. These can be any type of sunglasses that are comfortable and can look cute for your beach selfie.

I wore my silk scarf as a head wrap to add a pop of color! Even at the beach I wanted some accessories, so I decided to wear some cute but simple bracelets. Next, I wore some studded easy to wear sandals. And of course I had to add a pop of color here too since my outfit was all white, I chose red in this case to match my head accessory. 

This outfit was all white to go with the beach aesthetic. It was super comfy and an option to not wear just my bikini since the weather was not the best.

You can also wear a cute top with jean shorts- you can never go wrong with shorts. I loved the black top since it's a crop top and has an amazing open back. This shirt is sexy but not revealing from the front, which is a great alternative from my shirt. Again sunnies are a must. You don't want to come out squinting in all your pictures.
